Presentation of the Centre
The Jiménez Díaz Foundation University Hospital, founded more than 80 years ago, has maintained an agreement with the public health system since 1953, through which it provides public health service to Spanish society.
Following the commitments of the group to which it belongs, Quirónsalud has prestigious professionals who carry out care, teaching and research work. Thus, it has agreements with the Autonomous University of Madrid, among other entities, and has its own School of Nursing and its Institute for Health Research (IIS-FJD).
Main Research Activities
From cutting-edge research at the service of the patient, the latest developments in diagnosis, treatment and follow-up can be offered thanks to state-of-the-art technologies and infrastructure:
- Search and identification of new targets for the development of new drugs: in vitro and animal models
- Search and identification of biomarkers of response and toxicity to oncological drugs.

Education
The Center actively participates with the Autonomous University of Madrid in the teaching of students of Medicine, Biology and Biotechnology as well as in the international Doctorate, Master, Preceptorship and Fellowship programs.
