Haukeland University Hospital (HUS) in Bergen, Norway, holds multiple regional and national functions in areas including rare diseases as well as specialized treatments. Our cancer research includes therapeutic clinical trials and translational research.
Main Research Activities
Research activities reach from basal cell biology, via diagnostics and clinical trials to health service research including societal impact and prioritization.
The Mohn Cancer Research Laboratory is concentrated on translational research in respect to therapy resistance.
The Bergen Particle Therapy Research group develops and implements improved treatment.
Mohn Medical Imaging and Visualization Centre develops of new methods in quantitative imaging and interactive visualization.
Centre for Cancer Biomarkers focuses on mechanisms that demonstrates how cancer cells are affected by the tumour microenvironment.
